Description
This 3* Art Nouveau hotel located at the gates of Montreux has 42 comfortable rooms, each with a particular charm specific to the architecture of the building. Located just opposite the Royal Plaza Montreux, the Villa Toscane benefits from all the 5* services including a restaurant, 2 bars, a spa, an underground car park and a conference centre. This collaboration makes it possible to provide a maximum of possibilities in order to satisfy the desires & expectations of leisure & business travellers. A few steps from Lake Geneva, the train station, the city centre and the 2M2C, you can also benefit from free local transport as well as promotional advantages on excursions and tourist attractions in the region.Historically, 2 villas, Toscane & Pauline, almost symmetrical, were built in 1905 by the Swiss architect, Louis Villard (1856-1937). With the construction of nearly 35 rental, commercial and hotel buildings, it played a key role in the tourist development of Montreux and its surroundings. In 1989, major works were undertaken to transform the 2 villas into a hotel, also creating a glass passage to connect the terraces on the 1st floor. Renovated in 2012, the building has retained its original charm thanks to its Mediterranean architecture, its floral stained glass windows, its columns and its bright spaces offering multiple accesses to the outside.
