Hiking – Chauderon Gorges
Description
Let’s explore the legendary Chauderon Gorges and their geological origins!
Who would have thought that, just a stone’s throw from the centre of Montreux, lies a wild canyon with sheer cliffs and lush vegetation – without which Montreux might not even exist?
We’ll follow the river’s course past waterfalls, narrow gorges and moss-covered cliffs until we emerge in Montreux’s old town and reach the river’s mouth where it flows into the lake.
During this refreshing summer walk, we’ll explore the links between Montreux’s urban and tourist history and its main watercourse.
Please fill in the online information form. This will enable us to prepare for the outing as effectively as possible (for example, to find out about any allergies, as we often include product tastings in our outings...).
