AVALanche’ exhibition!
To mark the 40th anniversary of a series of major avalanches in the Ormonts valley, the exhibition ‘AVALanche au Musée des Ormonts’ (AVALanche at the Ormonts Museum) deals with scientific aspects such as snow conditions, the different types of avalanches, risk management, rescue and protection methods, as well as the historical aspect of avalanches in the Ormonts valley and how the local population has adapted to these dangers!
