Description
The gourmet hike at Col des Mosses invites you to discover the unspoilt landscapes of the Alpes Vaudoises along a scenic route punctuated by delicious stops at traditional mountain refreshment huts.
During this hike of approximately 3.5 hours, enjoy an ideal activity for lovers of nature and authentic cuisine.
- 2-stage gourmet hike (Available in June and September)
From Col des Mosses, walk to the Charmilles refreshment hut for your first gourmet stop, featuring regional cheeses, cold meats and a glass of wine (or a soft drink for children).
The route continues along a pleasant forest path, then a panoramic trail offering superb views over the Pra Cornet plateau, before reaching the restaurant at Lake Lioson.
For your second and final gourmet stop, choose from a selection of mountain specialities: cordon bleu with fries, ham on the bone, cheese crust or fondue.
The experience ends on a sweet note with a homemade dessert served with tea or coffee.
The return journey to Col des Mosses follows a pleasant mountain path through alpine meadows and scenic landscapes.

This summer version of the gourmet hike includes an additional stop, extending your culinary journey in the heart of the Alpes Vaudoises.
From Col des Mosses, begin your hike with an aperitif at the Charmilles refreshment hut, featuring local products, cheeses, cold meats and regional wine.
The hike continues towards Lake Lioson along forest paths and panoramic trails overlooking the Pra Cornet plateau.
At the Lake Lioson restaurant, enjoy a hearty mountain meal with a choice of dishes: cordon bleu with fries, ham on the bone, cheese crust, fondue or the daily menu.
After this gourmet break, a short digestive walk through alpine nature leads you to the Petits Lacs refreshment hut, where you can enjoy a homemade seasonal fruit tart with organic herbal tea.
The return to Col des Mosses is a gentle descent along an accessible trail, offering one last immersion in the stunning landscapes of the Alpes Vaudoises.
