Welcome to Domaine Bertholet in Villeneuve!
The Bertholet wine cellar has belonged to a family of wine growers and makers for 4 generations. We use integrated production methods (ecologically) on a little over 3 hectares of traditionally grown vineyards. Our wines are guaranteed free of mixes or chips.
All the wines we sell bear the label "origine contrôlée Chablais". We are members of our local section of the Swiss Association of wine growers and wine makers, which means that we grow our own grapes, that we make our own wines and that we sell them ourselves. Our cellar consists of oak barrels, enamel stell tanks and borsari vats.
You will enjoy a visit of the wine cellar with the grower, who will explain everything about the Estate and winemaking.
The visit will end on a pleasant note as you will get to taste 4 of the Estate's vintages. You will not leave empty-handed: the winemaker will present you with a bottle of his production to take home (Value Fr. 15.00).
