Paper-cutting initiation with a scissor
Description
The art of paper cutting is deeply rooted in the traditions of the Pays-d’Enhaut. Among its pioneers were Jean-Jacques Hauswirth and Louis Saugy, who were both from the region. Since then, the art of paper-cutting has been kept alive by young artists, who are developing it further by no longer cutting out just Alpine scenes, but also more exotic landscapes, animals and objects. So, under the guidance of a paper-cutting artist, we invite you to come and try your hand at this ancient art and discover its history. Then, armed with a pair of scissors, have a go at paper-cutting and take your first creation home with you.
